BRANSON, Mo. – Branson Bank names Kimberling City resident and U.S. Army Chaplain Paul Vicalvi as its Veteran of the Quarter.
From 1977 to 2006 Vicalvi served as an active duty Army Chaplain. Over 13 years of his active duty years were spent with paratroopers, include the 82nd Airborne Division and Army Special Operations Command.
In honor of being named Veteran of the Quarter, Josh Grisham welcomed Vicalvi to his Morning Show on My100.1, to discuss his time as a paratrooper:
Vicalvi has had over 100 military jumps and is a Master Parachutist. His last position on active duty was as Commandant, US Army Chaplain Center and School at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. He retired as a Colonel and now serves as an officer in the Ozark Military Officer’s Association of America and teaches Patriotic Education at School of the Ozarks.
Vicalvi and his wife, Pamella, reside in Kimberling City. Together they have five children and 12 grandchildren.
