After the College of the Ozarks won close games on Monday, North Arkansas College follows suit on Tuesday winning a pair of close games at Pioneer Pavilion.
The North Ark Women held off State Fair Community College 78-73 while the Men went down to the wire before a three point shot with six seconds left by Kamari Balton propelled the Pioneers to a 103-102 win.
Meanwhile, in High School Basketball Tuesday Night, Blue Eye and Forsyth emerge as the winners in the final two opening round games at the Forsyth Tournament. Blue Eye jumped out to an early 20 point lead and maintained it for most of the game in their 79-55 win. Ryan Reagan led three Bulldogs in double figures with 23 points. Forsyth meanwhile also surged in the first half and defeated Marshfield 52-35. Miciah Rocha led the Panthers with 26 points.
