AVA, Mo. – Over 26-thousand-dollars’ worth of stolen property is recovered by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office this week.
Sheriff Chris Degase reports all of the property, which included ATV’s and horse saddles, have been returned to their rightful owners.
In a release from the sheriff’s office, Degase says the property recovery was the result of a cooperative effort between the Douglas, Howell, and Texas County Sheriff’s Office’s and the South Central Drug Task Force.
Degase adds that numerous charges are still pending in this case. No additional information on this case is being released at this time.
