Rock The Spectrum Pre-Party Coming to Downing Street

HOLLISTER, Mo. – The Hollister Board of Aldermen approves a special event permit for Generation Rescue, Inc. to hold a block party on historic Downing Street in support of its Rock The Spectrum autism awareness fundraiser.

Organizer Cristal Hedrick says the event featuring live music, food truck vendors, a beer garden and merchandise stand is scheduled for Saturday night, July 30th – one week prior to the annual benefit at Branson Landing…



To help facilitate the Rock The Spectrum Pre-Party, the board approved a catering license for The Old English Inn.

Two other special event permits have also been approved by aldermen.

Premiere Dance Academy is holding an event featuring carnival games and live entertainment Friday night, July 15th at the Chad A. Fuqua Memorial Park.

And the Hollister High School Band will host another fundraising car wash on Saturday, August 6th.
