HARRISON, Ark. – The City of Harrison is reminding business owners in the city limits to renew their licenses for this year.
City officials say from now until September 30th, people can turn in their registration forms and fees without any kind of a penalty. Mayor Dan Sherrell says the Chamber takes care of these types of forms.
He says any business inside of the Harrison City limits should have a license. The initial fee for one is 35 dollars, while renewal is 20. People can file these at the Chamber of Commerce during business hours, by phone, or online.
The release from the city explains, those who are late to register will be given a 10 percent fee within the first thirty days. If a business is behind on it licenses by more than 90 days, the city will turn off water services to that particular location.
According to the Harrison Chamber of Commerce, they handle about 750 business licenses for the city of Harrison.
