BRANSON, Mo. – Two men from Wisconsin are stopping in Branson on Saturday, July 16th, as part of their cross country motorcycle ride for the non-profit organization Remember Rally.
Through the entire month of July, Woody West of White Water Wisconsin and Terry Werderitiz (Wer-Der-Its) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin will be stopping at 15 fire departments, across 19 states including the Branson Fire-Rescue Department, to share the message of the Remember Rally.
In a special interview with Hometown Daily News West says the Remember Rally was launched shortly following the events of 9/11 by Diane Sherwood out of Luverne, Minnesota:
West says their overall goal for 2016 is to raise money to fund the creation of special beds for service animals, who assist rescue workers and veterans recovering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. West says donations can be made through their Remember Rally website.
The two riders will be at the Branson Fire Department, located at Crosby Street, at 4 p.m. on the 16th. More information on their ride across the country and the Remember Rally organization can be found here and here.
