BERRYVILLE, Ark. – Mercy’s Home-Health and Hospice location in Berryville announces staff will close its doors for good on September 1st.
In a release from Mercy Hospital, Officials say declining use and competition in the area is the reason behind the closure.
In the meantime, staffers say they will be working to help their current patients transition to another home care or hospice provider in the area.
Furthermore, the release says the staff of nurses, therapists, and medical social workers will all be transferred to other Mercy locations in the area.
Mercy, a hospital based in Springfield, has 46 separate locations in Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma.
