HOLLISTER, Mo. – Eight state roads in Barry, Taney, Christian and Lawrence counties are scheduled to be sealed with a mixture of rock and oil beginning next week.
MoDOT has released a tentative schedule showing work starting Monday on Barry County Route 112, and on Taney County Routes F, BB and MM.
The following week, contractor crews will focus on Stone County Route O, Christian County Route M and Lawrence County Routes K and ZZ.
During the project, drivers can expect one-lane traffic with flaggers and pilot vehicles directing cars through the work zone.
Drivers are asked to reduce their speed when traveling over sections that have been recently sealed.
This project also includes sealing work on 26 additional state routes in southwest Missouri, at a cost of 3-point-3 million dollars.
