FORSYTH, Mo. – The Taney County Commission approves a funding agreement for the City of Branson to utilize sewer sales tax proceeds to complete two separate projects.
Environmental Services Project Coordinator John Soutee says the allotted 500-thousand dollars will be used by the city to offset costs associated with its Lift Station 22 equalization basin project, and its Animal Safari Road gravity sewer extension project…
After approving the Branson agreement, Soutee reported to the commission that approximately 670-thousand dollars remain in unobligated sewer funds for use by local municipalities this year.
He says the Taney County Regional Sewer District is anticipating upcoming requests from the City of Hollister and Village of Bull Creek.
