BRANSON, Mo. – The Taney County Sheriff’s Office and the Branson Police Department are cooperating to re-establish and maintain two Public Service Answering Points, or P-SAPs, for 911 emergency telephone services.
Branson Interim Police Chief Stan Dobbins says an updated intergovernmental agreement provides employee-based funding for P-SAPs in Forsyth and Branson…
Dobbins says under the existing agreement, the sheriff’s office is only able to fund about 2-and-a-half positions.
The new agreement replaces and supersedes the existing contract, and requires annual renewal. It also identifies CenturyLink as the phone provider.
