HARRISON, Ark. – Joshua Bright, Director of Pharmacy Services at NARMC, was recently appointed to the Arkansas Association of Hospital Pharmacists (AAHP) Practice Advancement Initiative Committee (PAC). This Committee is working to develop and test models that will result in greater safety and efficiency in providing pharmacy care to patients.
Bright is a founding member of the Boone County Diabetes Collaborative, and member of the Board of Directors for the North Arkansas Partnership for Healthcare Education (NAPHE). He received his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, and graduated Magna Cum Laude in Chemistry at Arkansas Tech University. He is an active member of the American Pharmacists’ Association, and the Arkansas Association of Health-System Pharmacists.
Bright’s professional interests include medication management, collaborative healthcare systems, healthcare leadership, and value-based healthcare benefits management.
