Shell Knob Man Charged for DWI in Barry County Crash

GOLDEN, Mo. – A man from Shell Knob is arrested for drinking and driving after crashing his vehicle early this (Friday) morning, four miles east of Golden in Barry County.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 21-year-old Kyle Boggs was traveling eastbound on Highway 86 at 12:20 a.m., when he ran off of the roadway and struck several trees.

Boggs was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield to be treated for his moderate injuries. According to the online crash and arrest reports Boggs is charged for driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving and for not wearing a seat belt.
