Firecracker 5000 Returns to Branson for 16th Annual Event

BRANSON, Mo. – Celebrate your independence on July 4th, by running a 10K at the 16th Annual Firecracker 5000 at the Branson Landing.

Race Director Chris Essick says participates are also invited to either run a 5k or enjoy the one mile fun run. He adds funds raised from this timed run event benefit the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks:


Racers can participate individually or with a team to compete for first, second and third place trophy’s and medals. Teams must consist of between five to seven members and team registration is only available online prior to the day of the event.

Packet pick-up can be done on Friday, July 3rd at Academy Sports in Springfield from Noon to 6 p.m. or the morning of the race from 6:15 to 7:15 a.m. Race time starts at 7:30 a.m.
