Marshfield Man Charged with DWI for Merriam Woods Crash

MERRIAM WOODS, Mo. – A Marshfield man is arrested for drinking and driving and other charges following a two vehicle crash Sunday morning, in Merriam Woods in Taney County.

State Troopers report 45-year-old Michael Groh of Marshfield was traveling eastbound on U-S 160 at 7:55 a.m., when he crossed the center line and struck a westbound vehicle head-on being driven by 38-year-old Ryan Kelly of Forsyth.

Both Groh and Kelly were transported by ambulance to Cox South Hospital to be treated for their respective moderate injuries.

According to the online crash and arrest reports, Groh is charged for driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving resulting in a vehicle crash, no insurance and for not wearing a seatbelt.
