Branson Girl Killed in Vehicle Crash in Rolla

ROLLA, Mo. – A young girl from Branson is killed in a single vehicle crash Sunday morning, in Rolla in Phelps County.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 32-year-old Dominika Floyd of Branson was traveling eastbound on I-44, at the 185 Mile Marker at 9:24 a.m., when the vehicle had a blowout and Floyd lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle then travelled off of the right side of the roadway and overturned several times.

Floyd and three passengers in the vehicle, 10-year-old Gabriel Floyd, 8-year-old Zachary Floyd, and 7-year-old Izabela Floyd, all of Branson, were transported to Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla.

Seven-year-old Izabela was pronounced dead at the hospital by Dr. Michael Elders. Zachary sustained moderate injuries in the crash, while Dominika and Gabriel only sustained minor injuries.
