TOPS Donates Stuffed Animals to NARMC

HARRISON, Ark. – Kids at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center going into surgery will get a fluffy friend along the way thanks to the state-wide weight loss organization, Take Pounds off Sensibly, also known as TOPS.

During the group’s monthly meeting in Harrison, more than 300 members were urged to donate a stuffed animal toy to the hospital. According to Marsha Carter, Public relations with NARMC, that lead to the donation of hundreds of stuffed animals in all shapes and sizes:



She says these will be given to frightened children who are injured or ill and brought to NARMC for treatment.

TOPS Club, Inc. is a nonprofit organization which focusing on health by providing tools, information, support and accountability to help members achieve success in reaching their weight loss goals. Carter says Harrison has 2 local chapters.
