Fireworks Allowed on July 4th in Harrison

by Shannon Cay

HARRISON, Ark. – The City of Harrison announces it will be allowing fireworks in the city limits on the Fourth of July.

Fire Inspector Clint Nichols says the rules this year are just as they were last year. Firework sales are allowed from June 28th to July 4th in Harrison. Additionally, fireworks can be discharged in the city limits of Harrison between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m. on July 4th only…

He says a ticket for shooting fireworks outside of the allotted time frame could amount to a 140 dollars …

Nichols says those who prefer to watch fireworks as opposed to lighting them are invited to a public Fireworks Display at Anstaff Bank Soccer Complex, just after sunset that night.
