Commissioners on Monday approved an engineering contract for the bridge project with Great River Associates, at a cost not to exceed 211-thousand 318-dollars.
The board also approved a request to survey Amherst Road – a county-maintained route that recently had a new home constructed near the end of the roadway. Eastern District Commissioner Danny Strahan suggested that the road department also look into improving the turnaround at the dead-end there…
In other action, commissioners approved a secondary aggregate rock agreement with Buchanan Materials, and voted to continue an existing contract between the county and Steward Consulting, Inc.
The commission also approved appointments to the newly re-established Taney County Library District Board.
