POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. – The Keeter Center Dobyns Dining Room at College of the Ozarks is actively competing in a nationwide cooking contest, with its French Onion Grilled Cheeseburger.
The Blended Burger Project is partnership between the James Beard Foundation and the American Mushroom Council, according to Dobyns Dining Room Chef James Chase:
If the restaurant can receive the most votes for its blended burger, the culinary students at C of O will win a trip to cook at the historic James Beard House in New York City in October.
Now through July 31st, the French Onion Grilled Cheeseburger is being featured on the menu at The Keeter Center. Satisfied diners can then show their support for the burger by voting online until the end of July.
The voting page and more on the Blended Burger Project can be found here.
