HARRISON, Ark. – A man who took part in stabbing a pair from Harrison last year is sentenced to 30 years in prison.
Boone County Judge Robert McCorkindale accepted a no contest plea from 27-year-old Samuel Lambert from Calico Rock, who was charged with attempted capital murder and tampering with evidence.
According to authorities, Lambert and two brothers, Samuel and Jeremiah Lowe, entered into a home on Tennyson Loop in Harrison in March of 2015. Investigators say the three took part in stabbing Brandon Martin and Hannah Wright and afterward burned their clothes to hide evidence.
Samuel Lowe pleaded guilty to the attempted murder charge in September and was sentenced to 22 years in prison. In January, Jeremiah Lowe was acquitted of his charges in this case.
Court records show Judge McCorkindale sentenced Lambert to 30 years for the attempted murder charge last week with another 15-year prison sentence for the tampering charge. Both sentences are to run concurrently.
