Taney County Revenue Up 6 Percent Year-to-Date

FORSYTH, Mo. – Taney County Treasurer Melanie Smith reports sales tax receipts of more than 2-point-3 million dollars, marking an increase of 18-percent over June of last year.

The latest income brings General County Revenue to a balance of more than 3-point-3 million dollars – marking an increase of nearly 6-percent, year-to-date.

Taney County closed out 2015 with an overall increase of nearly 5-point-8 percent. With the latest figures, the county is on track to realize a fourth consecutive year of increased revenues.
