BRANSON, Mo. – Arvest Bank announces it has exceeded its campaign goal for the 1 Million Meals program, by raising over 1.7 Million in just two months.
Between the Arvest Bank locations in Branson, Forsyth, Hollister, and their partnership with Christian Action Ministries, and the Branson West location, and its partnership with the Christian Associates, over 16,000 meals were provided to the local community.
Arvest Community Bank President in Branson Pamela Yancey says Arvest is so excited to provide so many meals to its neighbors in need:
Launched in 2011, the 1 Million Meals campaign brought together all the Arvest Bank locations in the four states it serves, to begin a fight against hunger.
Since that time over 9.6 Million meals have been raised, including more than $1.6 Million in funds given directly to the bank’s more than 60 local food partners.
