GALENA, Mo. – A man from Springfield is ordered to return to the Stone County Jail after failing a drug test on Monday.

According to court records, 43-year-old Robert Kail tested positive for methamphetamine prior to his scheduled court appearance, and is ordered to remain in custody without bond pending further order from Judge Jack Goodman.

Kail is charged with two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, stemming from his arrest during a traffic stop near Branson West last summer.

At that time, officers reportedly found meth, pills and a small caliber pistol inside his vehicle.

Kail is slated to return to court on July 6th.
