FORSYTH, Mo. – Businesses and area residents are encouraged to stop by the Branson Bank in Forsyth on Saturday to pick up a Forsythia plant.
The plants are being made available as part of the ongoing effort to increase local tourism in Forsyth, and the newly created annual event entitled Forsythia Days, which is scheduled to debut in 2017.
Forsyth Area Chamber of Commerce Vice President Don Gass says by organizing an annual festival, they hope to draw interest back to the city of Forsyth:
Forsythia plants will be on sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunny Hills Garden Center is providing the plants at a discounted rate of 10-dollars for a gallon plant and 15-dollars for a three gallon plant.
If you have any questions about Forsythia Days, please contact the Forsyth Area Chamber of Commerce at 417-546-2741 or visit their website at www.forsythmissouri.org.
