Couple Bound Over for Arraignment in Son’s Death

GALENA, Mo. – A couple from Reeds Spring charged with second-degree murder in the death of their infant son waives a preliminary hearing and is bound over to Stone County Circuit Court for arraignment.

Thirty-eight-year-old Joshua Jackson and 33-year-old Bambi Jackson are also facing felony counts of child abuse and child endangerment. Their 13-month-old son died of low blow pressure due to dehydration, according to an autopsy report.

Emergency responders were called to their home on Micahs Crossing on January 5th. Medical personnel were unable to revive the boy, who wasn’t breathing, according to police. The child reportedly weighed just over 10 pounds.

The Jacksons are due back in court for arraignment on July 6th.
