Branson Fire-Rescue to Host Pyrotechnics Training Course

BRANSON, Mo. – The City of Branson Fire-Rescue Department is presenting a course on the safe use of indoor pyrotechnics used before a live audience.

This course is designed to prepare theater owners, operators and pyrotechnic technicians for testing to receive a license through the Missouri Division of Fire Safety, according to Branson Fire Chief Ted Martin:


The four-hour course is being hosted on Friday, June 17th, beginning at 8:30 a.m., at the Branson Fire Department’s training center at the Red Roof Mall, 500 Gretna Road, Building 13.

Applicants must order a copy of the 2016 National Fire Protection Association Standard 1126 prior to the class date. This Standard can be ordered through the website To register contact Branson Fire Rescue at (417) 243-2780.
