Branson Fire-Rescue to Host Pyrotechnics Training Course

BRANSON, Mo. – The City of Branson Fire-Rescue Department is presenting a course on the safe use of indoor pyrotechnics used before a live audience.

This course is designed to prepare theater owners, operators and pyrotechnic technicians for testing to receive a license through the Missouri Division of Fire Safety, according to Branson Fire Chief Ted Martin:

 

The four-hour course is being hosted on Friday, June 17th, beginning at 8:30 a.m., at the Branson Fire Department’s training center at the Red Roof Mall, 500 Gretna Road, Building 13.

Applicants must order a copy of the 2016 National Fire Protection Association Standard 1126 prior to the class date. This Standard can be ordered through the website http://www.nfpa.org. To register contact Branson Fire Rescue at (417) 243-2780.
