Two Injured in Three Vehicle Crash in Taney County

MERRIAM WOODS, Mo. – Two Taney County residents are injured in a three vehicle crash Tuesday morning, in Merriam Woods.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 38-year-old Ronnie Christy of Branson was traveling westbound on U-S 160 at 10:15 a.m., when he crossed the center line and struck an eastbound vehicle driven by 52-year-old James Webber also of Branson.

Christy’s vehicle then struck another eastbound vehicle driven by 56-year-old Pamela Atwell of Kirbyville.

Christy was transported by ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield to be treated for moderate injuries, while Atwell was transported to Cox Medical Center Branson for treatment of minor injuries.

According to the online crash report neither Christy nor Webber were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
