HARRISON, Ark. – Foster Families in Boone County are asking for your help.

In a recent release from The Call of Boone County, a statewide group that assists and helps to train foster parents, The county Coordinator Lora Stephens says the office was given a donation of a freezer, but now the staff is having trouble filling it up.

Stephens is asking people for frozen donations that will make having multiple children in the home a little easier:

She says currently, there are 80 kids in the foster care system in Boone County and only 19 foster families:

If you are looking for an activity to do with your kids this summer, Stephens say these families could use some quick freezer meals.

The Call in Boone County is open Tuesdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
