Branson Pays Honor to Fallen Soldiers on Memorial Day

BRANSON, Mo. – The Branson area pays honor to the fallen men and women of America’s War’s during a Memorial Day Tribute on Monday morning, at the Ozarks Memorial Park in Branson.

Hosted by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 913, the ceremony included the laying of six wreaths for each of the American fought wars and a seventh wreath for all other wars and armed conflicts in which the United State has been or is presently engaged.

Serving as a Combat Medic during the Vietnam War, Chapter 913 member Ron Detmer addressed the crowd and shared moments from his time in service:

 

Detmer was joined on stage by Branson Mayor Karen Best, College of the Ozarks Director of Development Natalie Rasnick, Edward Krieser and Reverend Neil.
