REEDS SPRING, Mo. – The Reeds Spring School Board is selected to receive a 2016 Governance Team Award from the Missouri School Boards’ Association.
Only 15 of the state’s 520 public school districts were chosen for this honor, which is based on commitment to professional development, leadership and legislative advocacy on the part of the school board and superintendent.
This is the third consecutive year for Reeds Spring to receive a governance award.
Current school board members include Earl Johnson, Al Morton, Owen Allphin, Rob Barringer, Anne Coleman, Matt Greenwalt and Rick Porter. The superintendent is Michael Mason.
Johnson, Morton and Coleman plan to accept the award June 4th at the association’s Leadership Summit at Tan-Tar-A Resort.
