REPUBLIC, Mo. – Two men are injured in a three vehicle crash Monday afternoon, in Greene County.

State Troopers say 40-year-old Christopher Cole of Springfield was traveling northbound on Highway ZZ, one mile south of Republic at 4:55 p.m., when he failed to yield and struck another northbound vehicle in the rear that had stopped to make a turn. The stopped vehicle, driven by 22-year-old Bryce Bobbitt of Conway, then rotated to face southbound and was struck head-on by a northbound vehicle, driven by 31-year-old Cory Dalton of Republic.

Dalton and Bobbitt were transported by ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield, to be treated for their respective moderate and serious injuries.
