Four People Injured in Taney County Crash

FORSYTH, Mo. – Two men and two women are injured in a two vehicle crash Monday night, two miles west of Forsyth in Taney County.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 83-year-old Thomas Anderson of Forsyth was traveling eastbound on Highway 160 at 7:25 p.m., when he lost control of his vehicle, crossed the center line, overcorrected and struck another eastbound vehicle driven by 21-year-old Corey Varnell of Kissee Mills.

A passenger in Varnell’s vehicle, 61-year-old Bonnie Warren of Ridgedale, Arkansas, was transported by ambulance to Cox Medical Center Branson to be treated for her moderate injuries. According to the online crash report Warren was not wearing her seatbelt.

Varnell, Anderson, and a passenger in Anderson’s vehicle, 67-year-old Virginia Anderson of Forsyth, all suffered minor injuries and were also transported to Cox Medical Center Branson for treatment.
