HOLLISTER, Mo. – Hollister will have a new Ward One Alderman beginning next month, as Aaron Eskew is moving into Ward Two and relinquishing his seat on the city council.

A reception in honor of his four years of service to the city was enjoyed by all who attended the regular board of aldermen meeting Thursday night. Eskew took to the opportunity to thank city staff and his fellow elected officials for their professionalism and dedication to the citizens of Hollister…

Replacing Eskew on the board will be Lamar Patten, a 10-year resident of the city, and the owner of Scotty’s Trout Dock & Marina on the other side of Lake Taneycomo…

Patten will be sworn into office June 2nd and will complete Eskew’s unexpired term on the city council.
