BRANSON, Mo. – The Branson Parks and Recreation Department rolls out a new program in an effort to preserve the beauty of the Branson area.
For this new program, area residents can adopt a trail or a flower bed in the Branson area to take care of and maintain through the year. Parks Director Cindy Shook says this program is a great way to teach young citizens about the importance of community involvement:
Shook add this program is meant to be for individuals and organizations alike. She adds they have already seen an interests from Boy Scout Troops, Church groups and local clubs, but this program is for anyone looking to make a difference in the Branson area.
