BRANSON, Mo. – Big rides bring big fun all summer as Branson’s White Water takes family adventure to the water – from tower-top rides to cool floating adventures. White Water presents the region’s biggest water rides and slides, featuring the mega-thrill slide KaPau Plummet. The 13-acre water park opens May 28, adding 9 straight days of Night Water and kids’ $20 tickets all season long.
The Biggest Thrill in White Water History, KaPau Plummet continues to bring top thrills to the Branson, Missouri water park. A heart-pounding, drop-floor thrill slide atop a four-story tower, KaPau Plummet features a near-vertical 70-degree plunge and two-story rider free fall through two 240-foot dueling slides, followed by a spiraling loop. Once riders are inside the launch capsules, the countdown begins: 3…2…1 KAPAU! The bottom of each slide drops out, creating a rider free fall for two stories, speeding at 26 feet per second into a looping translucent waterslide before final splashdown.
New this year, White Water adds 9 straight days of Night Water. The popular nighttime event Night Water takes park hours to 10 p.m. all Saturdays in July and daily July 31 – 7, plus August 13 for thrilling drops in the dark. Also new, Hula Hula Tacos bring more island flavors to the park’s dining options.
White Water’s array of rides, slides and attractions range from riveting to relaxing. In addition to KaPau Plummet, thrill rides include the 7-story, 6-slide Kalani Towers, with two 300-foot drop slides and four additional 312-foot slides for lane racing. For more relaxing adventure, Aloha River is an 800-foot themed river, where tube riders float the twists and turns under fountains, misters and geysers. Splashaway Cay is an interactive family attraction with slides and geysers, and Coconut Cove is a play area specially designed for smaller kids.
Open May 28 – September 5, White Water features more than a dozen rides and attractions and two million gallons of water fun. Information and combo ticket options: 800-831-4FUN(386), www.bransonwhitewater.com.
