BRANSON, Mo. – The Army Corps of Engineers’ Table Rock Project Office invites families to a special “Kids to Parks Day” event Saturday at Dewey Short Visitor Center.
Kids of all ages can participate in a variety of activities and games focusing on animals, water quality and safety.
Students who are finishing fourth grade can also earn an “Every Kid in a Park” pass to enjoy federal parks for the rest of the summer.
The free event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, and is sponsored by the Missouri Department of Conservation, Missouri Stream Team and Taney County 4-H.
