MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – A man from Mountain Home did not waste time in court this week in pleading guilty to stealing a truck last week.
According to online records from the Baxter County Circuit Court, 26-year-old Taylor George of Mountain Home pleaded guilty to stealing a 2001 Dodge Dakota pickup truck on May 8th.
Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery says the truck’s owner left the vehicle, with the keys in the ignition, in a parking lot overnight in Mountain Home on May 7th. It was gone the following morning.
Mountain Home Police say George was arrested after being found that afternoon driving the pickup-truck.
He was sentenced to three years in the state prison to run concurrently with time he will spend in prison for also violating his parole.
