BRANSON, Mo. – Jesus Was Homeless in Branson is searching for mentors to join them, as they kick-off the 19th Jobs for Life Class tonight (Wednesday).
Since 2013, Jobs for Life has had a total of 15 classes and 114 students. From those classes, 80-percent of those students have graduated the program and 74-percent of those graduates have maintained meaningful employment.
Ashley Lauer, Community Relations for Jobs for Life and Jesus Was Homeless, shares they are looking for mentors who have a heart for people and can lead someone with grace and understanding:
Classes are Wednesday and Friday nights from 6 to 8 p.m. for a period of nine weeks. Lauer says they are in need of around 10 mentors for this class. She adds they do have a few more women students participating in this class, so women mentors are needed as well.
To become a mentor, you can contact Lauer for more information at 417-337-8103. More information on Jobs for Life can be found here.
