HARRISON, Ark. – Eating ten pounds of crawfish in four minutes isn’t for everyone, but this weekend the family is invited to try to break the Crawdad Days record in Harrison, this weekend.

Crawdad Days is has become a family tradition, keeping people coming back year after year, according to the Chamber of Commerce Chair for the event, Luke Feighert.

This is the 26th year the Harrison Chamber of Commerce has partnered with our sister station 102.9 the Z, for provide music, vendors, and crawdad themed events to the community. Feighert says one big change this year, however, is parking.

Headlining the event is the winner of the latest season of NBC’s The Voice “Barrett Baber”, and joining him will be local favorite’s “The Dan Benton Band”, Billy Dean, and Jason Pritchett.

The festival is expected to see over ten thousand people around the banks of Lake Harrison. 45-hundred pounds of crawfish has been ordered to keep up with the demand, according to Feighert.
