SPRINGDALE, Ark. – The Arkansas State Police release information on the three vehicle crash that killed a father and daughter from Springdale, last week.
According to the state police, 40-year-old Thomas Hudson was traveling westbound, in the eastbound lane of Sunset Avenue in Springdale at about 6:00 p.m. with an unnamed minor. Troopers say Hudson attempted to merge back into the westbound lane, when he sideswiped a Ford Explorer.
The online crash report says then Hudson crashed into an eastbound car, driven by 50-year-old Bruce Englemann. The driver of the Ford Explorer, who is unnamed, was uninjured in the crash, according to authorities.
Englemann was taken to Northwest Medical Center via ambulance. The crash report reads Hudson and the minor were both killed in the crash.
Rick Schaeffer, spokesperson for the Springdale School District confirms the minor killed in the crash was 12-year-old Presley Hudson.
