Press Release

REEDS SPRING, Mo. – The Reeds Spring High School Youth Empowerment Project (YEP!) recently raised $934 for a community feeding program. YEP! collected the funds during Give Ozarks Day, a 24-hour fundraising effort organized by Community Foundation of the Ozarks.

YEP! is a student organization whose goal is to develop leadership through action and service. The group is in the process of setting up a garden to grow crops. Members are also working with the organization Loaves and Fishes to develop a way to distribute food that is grown. EarthWise Recycling is also consulting with the students about sustainability.
