BRANSON, Mo. – The Branson Police Department is supporting the Taney County Sheriff’s Office in its application for grant funds to cover the cost of new video surveillance equipment.
Interim Police Chief Stan Dobbins reported to aldermen this week:
Aldermen approved first reading of an intergovernmental agreement that would allocate the Department of Justice grant funds to Taney County.
If the application is approved, the county will receive more than 12-thousand dollars to purchase in-car video equipment.
