Local Man Wins Pro Fishing Tournament

BULL SHOALS LAKE, Ark. – The winner of a pro fishing tournament at Bull Shoals is a local man.

Paul Brunson from Lead Hill took home the first place win in the third tournament of the Solo Pro Series at Bull Shoals Lake, weighing in five post spawn-bass fish at 15.53 pounds.

Brunson says his fishing technique last weekend was slow and deep under the water.  People may know him, as the Collison Repair Manager at the Clay Maxey Ford dealership.

Josh Busby from Rogersville, Missouri came in at a close second with five fish weighing 15.43 pounds, while Greg Blair from Tennessee was third place.

The fourth tournament in the Solo Pro Series will be at Pomme De Terre Lake in June.
