POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. — College of the Ozarks broke ground on the Hook Activities Center on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at 10:45 a.m.

The Hook Activities Center is an important addition to School of the Ozarks facilities and will be used for indoor learning, convocations, sports events, and a variety of student-centered activities.

“The College is pleased to have the Hook Family Foundation’s support,” said Dr. Jerry C. Davis, president of College of the Ozarks. “Children will enjoy this space for years to come, and activities here will further support our mission and vision.”

School of the Ozarks students and staff gathered for a groundbreaking with gold shovels. Students broke the ground on the facility that will be built by College of the Ozarks staff and students. The anticipated completion date is late 2017.
