HARRISON, Ark. – The Ozark Humane Society is asking you to give ten for a friend in Harrison.

Throughout the month of May, volunteers with the local Humane society will be at several events around the community, hoping to raise money for the shelter, while also finding forever homes for cats and dogs, alike, as President of Ozark Humane Society, Mary Hickman, explains:

She says that the annual budget to take care of these animals is about 268-thousand dollars and most of that money comes from the “Cause for Paws” thrift shop…

The Ozark Humane Society is the only not kill facility in Boone County. Hickman says the shelter is also in need of volunteers to man to thrift store and help with the shelter pets.
