Striping, Bridge Work in Tri-Lakes Area

by Sam Clanton

BRANSON, Mo. – Watch out for slow-moving vehicles and wet paint in the roadway today as MoDOT contractor crews perform striping work on Stone County Route JJ, and along Highways 160, 86 and 265 in Taney County.

Drivers are asked to pass only when it’s safe, or wait until striping vehicles pull out of the way.

Also today, patching work continues on Highway 76 in Stone County, with one-lane traffic between Highway 173 near Cape Fair and Route EE north of Shell Knob.

Bridge work continues on U-S 65 in Taney County, with lane closings over Bear Creek north of Branson, and in the southbound lanes of the Lake Taneycomo bridge in Branson.

Bridge work is scheduled to begin on Highways 39 and 86 in Barry County, resulting in reduced traffic over Table Rock Lake near Shell Knob, and across the Kings River bridge west of Carr Lane.

And patch work continues on Christian County Route BB, with one-lane traffic in areas west of U-S 65.
