BRANSON, Mo. – The City of Branson awards grant funds to three different organizations looking to make improvements in their neighborhoods.

The Lucia Ridge neighborhood organization is approved for a grant totaling 1-thousand 990 dollars for continued improvements to the John Nygard Memorial Park. The group plans to install a new barbecue grill, replace several park benches, and begin construction of a gazebo for community gatherings.

The Hiawatha Heights neighborhood receives a grant for 950-dollars to expand its community garden, including installation of an arbor, additional flower beds and decorative stones to line the garden walkway. The funds will also be used to host a neighborhood party to celebrate the improvements.
