BRANSON, Mo. – The Cops for Kids returns to Branson’s State Park Marina on May 3rd for its 12th Annual Buddy Bass tournament.
Over the years the Buddy Bass tournament has become one of the largest bass tournaments in the region and looks to attract anglers from all over the U-S.
Tournament Director Ron Kelly says the have a goal to raise 15-thousand-dollars this year, which are used to make contributions to two local charities:
Kelly says the top 15 finishers will receive a cash payback and this year’s grand prize is a 2016 Nitro Z18 Bass Boat with an outboard motor, donated by Bass Pro Shops and Mercury Marine. Last year’s event hosted over 160 boats and over 320 participants.
