HARRISON, Ark. – The public is invited to attend the grand opening of the Air Evac 40 base, near North Arkansas Regional Medical Center tomorrow afternoon.
The Program Director for the medically equipped helicopter crew, Justin Dearing says this service is going make response times faster and will save lives:
The Air Evac Lifeteam is the largest independently owned air medical service flight crews, consisting of a pilot, flight nurse and flight paramedic, on duty 24 hours a day to respond to the scene of an emergency, or provide transportation between medical facilities.
Dearing says folks can tour the base and the helicopter, as well as meet with the local lifeteam. Refreshments will also be provided.
The ribbon cutting for the newly built base, off of Main Street in Harrison on the North Arkansas Regional Medical Center Campus, starts up at 2:00 p.m. on Friday and will last until 4:00 p.m.
