BRANSON, Mo. – Outgoing aldermen are honored in Branson as newly-elected office holders take their seats.

Prior to Betsy Seay, Rick Castillon and Mike Booth being sworn into office last night, city officials took some time to recognize departing aldermen Cris Bohinc and Rick Davis.

Both were presented trophies, and informed that a tree would be planted in their honor.

Bohinc took the opportunity to thank her family, the community, and fellow board members…

Her husband Bogie Bohinc also addressed the crowd at City Hall:

Mayor Karen Best gave some remarks about each of the outgoing board members. She stated she admires the passion of Rick Davis, and his commitment to public service…

Davis had some words of encouragement for the new and returning aldermen, and even cracked a few jokes…

Davis’ tree will be planted at the Lakeside Forest Wilderness Area, while Bohinc’s tree is going in at Nygard Memorial Park in downtown Branson.

  1. Dr. Davis has used his time of service to be an excellent steward and he has left a magnificent positive mark on our city. Thanks to both for their service.
